Factory Tires / Dreadful Falkens

Hey there: Just wanted to let you all know that replacing the ridiculous Falken Sinceras on my 2019 S has transformed the vehicle. I had more trouble with punctures both sidewall and otherwise than any other tire in my life and at 18K miles were in need of replacement. Installed Michelin Climate2 in 215/50/17 configuration. What a dramatic difference and improvement. VW can and should do a better job.

Are you still liking the CrossClimate? It's about the only tire in stock size and that tread pattern looks like it would be noisy.

Hey. Apologies for the delayed response. The CrossClimate2's are fantastic; nothing negative to report. We live in the high desert of Arizona where the roads are marginal at best with some unpaved and the wagon performs like a champ. On the highway there is negligible road noise. Discount Tire had the best price in our area. Peace.
