What am I missing?

What is this slot for(on both sides under the floor)? Am I missing something that fits in here? It has a textured rubber pad in part of the slot.
I noticed I don’t have the plastic nut that secures the spare and subwoofer? Does it look like anything else is missing? I just brought this home today, learning what’s what.

Looks like you're just missing the twist handle nut holding that in place. Jack and tools on in the side compartment on the left side.

PS. there's also a cap on top of that rubber bolt thing that the spare tire slides into.
