So I'd been looking for a used set of wheels for my snow tires for a while at a decent price and finally found ones in the right lug spacing, size and price. Only it turns out the holes for the bolts were 12m instead of 14m which I found out too late. A mechanic suggested to do a lug bolt conversion but I'm a little hesitant. I would follow the torque specs and re torquing anally but was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this pro or con? Is rather not have a wheel fly off on me

If you are talking lugs. OEM is 13mm, known as ball seats, referenced as R13's. You want to get this right. Stock length is usually seat to shank end 27mm.

If you can't find R12's (P-car?) on ebay/amz, a specialty tire shop should be able to source them. I know this is late. Oh you are in seattle, so maybe Achtuning in redmond... they know their rims and lugs quite well. Good luck.
