New owner... okay it's my wife's VW but she doesn't use the forums and relies on me for info
. She picked up a 2018 Alltrack fully loaded with the 6 speed manual a couple months ago. She's coming from a 2011 Golf TDI Highline 6M. She sure misses the torque of the diesel but got a good trade in with the dieselgate issue. What we don't like is the way the manual downshifts. You'd almost have to drop 3 gears in order for any engine braking to occur. Very strange but i'm sure it's to do with efficiency etc.
But those LED lights.... i'm in love. I wish my 4runner had the same ones.
Anyway... not ranting. Just an introduction. Great to see there is a site dedicated to the Alltrack.
