Hello, new member here. A few months ago, I bottomed out the rear passenger side tire when I was pulling out of parking lot and it dropped into a culvert. It seemed OK for awhile, but the ride has gotten worse, and I’m feeling every bump. I suspect I have a broken shock or strut.

My question is, who can I trust to diagnose and fix this? I hate bringing my vehicle to the dealer. I haven’t done that yet. I change my own oil. That’s been the only maintenance so far, except for a few tire rotations.

strike up a conversation with an Alltrack owner in your town and see who they recommend. Mine is called Import Auto and he is great!

Thanks. It turned out that the exhaust was loose. I took it to the dealer. They didn’t charge me, and even washed and vacuumed the car for me. There was a recall issue with the transmission, which they took care of, so they didn’t charge me the standard diagnostic fee.
