Beautiful car. Quick question: I would love to ditch the Falken Sinceras on our 2019 SE. Any problems running those 225/55 Wildpeaks at stock height? I realize the speedo will be off about 3%. Any issues with VWOA warranty? Thanks for any info. Good luck.

No issues with this size. Love these tires. Have done several snowy/icy adventures and they are incredibly grippy. The slightly wider size protects the rims from curb rash too.

I have OEM mud guards and once or twice they rubbed slightly at full lock while turning sharp and braking (but that's over several years of use, soooo.)

At 80MPH on the highway the speedo is maybe 2-3 mph slower, not enough to recode the speedo with OBD11 or similar, just a mental note to make.

Thanks for the reply! It's my significant other's car (her first new car and we're both 68), not sure if she's open to bigger than stock tires. Wouldn't we have to get a bigger spare tire as well? She had some bad experiences with her old Subaru and tires.
As for the speedo, I have zero experience with coding so that wouldn't happen anyway. Although it would be cool to roll down the windows with the fob 😉

Get the ODB Eleven dongle. Ridiculously easy. Just download the app and plug the dongle into the car… the app is pre-loaded with a ton of features you can turn on and off with one click. Like the window Fob! Extremely easily.

But does also let you get deep into the 1’s and 0’s of coding if you k or what you are doing.

These tires are sliiiiiiightly larger than stock. If snow/traction is a goal then this is your golden goose. I honestly can’t recommended the WildPeak AT Trails enough. But there are tons of tire threads out there on the blogs for standard AllSeason radials if you’re looking for a 1-to-1 swap.

Though you don’t have a full size spare now… so that’s a whole other conversation. It’s a crap small doughnut, awful.
