Will 16" wheels from a Jetta sportwagen tdi fit 17" Alltrack?

I still have the steel wheels and brand new snow tires from our jetta sportwagen...205 55 16. Our Alltrack has the stock 205 55 17's on it. Will the sportwagen wheels fit on the alltrack. Other than the tires being a smaller size, throwing off the speedometer, are there any other issues? Thanks for any info!!

It should fit just fine with very minor speedometer issues

The difference is about 1.6 miles off, so technically you'll be driving a bit slower than your actual speedometer. I assume since its for winter driving you'll be ok.

Have a look here. The ideal 16" tires size for the Alltrack is 205/65/R16.
