Over the past couple of years Volkswagen has had their share of problems here in the American market, but as they put that experience behind them they continue to put out great new vehicles. This newest edition to the Golf family in the Alltrack is the perfect example of how to overcome adversity in the marketplace and continue to excel.

This new Alltrack is basically a 4 wheel drive version of the Golf Sportwagen that came out a couple of years ago. The big difference being that the designers have added all kinds of cool upgrades to give the Alltrack abilities off road and of course in managing bad weather, moving it more to the SUV side of the spectrum. Although the new look is more like the wagons of yesteryear with a lower roofline and stance than what we have grown accustomed to in the SUV market.

We are of the opinion that this new look is going to ring well with new families here in the states as it does not appear as bulky as an SUV, gets good gas mileage, and has great creature comforts that mom and dad will enjoy, and it also has extra storage space in the rear that most families are going to need for everyday driving.
