Noisy lower control arms?

I have quite a bit of creaking when I go over bumps in my 2017 Alltrack. I heard a rumor the rear bushings on the lower control arms need to be lubricated with silicone spray. I did that and it helped. I am still wondering if this is a known issue.

One forum I read said Volkswagen knows about this. Is there any kind of recall or does anyone have similar noise? I don’t think it is a ball joint. I had the end links replaced and still the same thing.
