It's been 30 years since I had my first VW, a White 1977 Rabbit, but my longing to return to shifting my own gears led me to buying a 2019 Golf Alltrack S with a manual transmission. Some of the compromises made it a struggle (Lack of ground clearance, no AT tire options for OE size, towing not approved by VW in US), the solid build, fantastic warranty, sentiment of it being the last year in the US market, and of course, the sheer Fahrvergnügen won me over. I'm looking forward to covering some backroads in it this weekend :)

Thanks. Yours looks nice as well (the original transfer on my deal was going to be white, but it was stuck in transit w/ no ETA).
