HEADS UP - trunk hydraulic strut replaced recently...

There are two hydraulic struts on the rear trunk. The dealer was nice enough to notice one was bent(!) and had it warranty replaced. Just a heads up for everyone to pay attention and maybe get it checked out especially while you still have warranty.

I don't drive it a lot nor move things in the back often so I am suspecting this might be one of those quiet defects.

one thing I did notice my 19 alltrack is that I had to lube the trust so they did not seize up when the trunk was opened or closed. I have the same issue wit 13 tdi wagon.
