Writing to see if anyone has had experience with their car alarm going off while driving?
I was on the highway today going about 70mph when the alarm went off - flashers and horn. I couldn't shut it off, merged to the right and pulled over. By the time I stopped (3-4 mins) it stopped on its own.
I have had the car worked on at the dealer twice due to a leaking sunroof (like so many others) with 2 headliner replacements and 1 full carpet replacement. I wonder if the alarm issue is a symptom of previous water intrusion messing with the electronics?
