2019 Golf Alltrack SE

Hi I have a 2019 alltrack with stock suspension. I plan on getting 19x8.5 wheels with a 45 offset. I'm looking to lessen the wheel gap and was thinking of using 235/40 tires. Does anyone have any experience with this size or should I stick to the 225/40 or 235/35? Thanks in advance.

I put on 235/40-19 with 15mm spacers. No rub. Cornering is much improved. Also upgraded to a thicker sway bar
