Left-most vent always blowing

Does anyone else's left-most vent blow regardless of the direction the HVAC is set to? Vent, floor, or windshield all blow out of the left vent. Not a deal-breaker, but pretty annoying.

Is this something the dealership can fix?

Have the dealer look at it.

It's supposed to. The right passenger vent as well.

You can turn it off with the controller on the vent. My Mk5 and Mk6 did that, so no surprise in a Mk7.

It's in the manual, if you get around to reading it.

Pretty handy in winter when you can blow a little heat onto your hands and chest while using heat and defrost.

Thanks, Paul! I still think it's a little odd (why not just have a setting for all directions so my right hand can stay warm as well), but I'm glad it's a consistent, deliberate thing and I can stop wondering about it.

And I definitely am enjoying the car!
