- 2019 Alltrack
Hi,
We just got one of the last Alltracks in our area with the VW incentives making it sweeter. A first VW for me but my wife grew up with VWs starting with a Thing.
We got a white manual SE with the "Driver Assistance & Appearance" package. With Subaru EyeSight in the family that made it seem right. I thought I was done with manual transmissions having had my first automatic at age 53, but without adaptive cruise, and nature of the car the manual transmission seemed right. It was very appealing for my scenario where I actually drive off road often, and have an on call status that pretty much always calls me out in the worst weather. I'm also a trail builder and leader in a ski club with a considerable facility - alpine, Nordic, jumping, biathlon. I drive the ski area service roads that are 4x4 only. I'm sure this will work where our Outback does.
Now time to continue with the manual (reading). The other manual part is my kids learning a manual transmission.
