Hi, can a 2017 alltrack be upgraded to add the blind spot monitor?

I'm sure it can but I think it would cost a lot. You'd have to source the parts from Europe more than likely and find someone well versed in programming. Vw apparently thought we Americans didn't need blind spot monitor
because we're such good drivers?
